My wife recently bought a bottle of this hoping it was the scent she loves from the W Hotels. When the bottle arrived she immediately sprayed a bit throughout the first floor. Much to her surprise and mine, it smells like straight Lemon Pledge. It was a full on synthetic lemon assault on our senses. My 5 year old came out of the living room holding her nose asking what the lemon smell was. If you really miss the smell of furniture polish then this is the scent for you. Maybe it was a bad bottle, maybe a disgruntled employee replaced the contents with lemon essence made in a factory just outside Chernobyl.

I absolutely love the smell when I stayed in W Hotel but they didn’t have the spray back then. Now I have found the inspired version from Hotel Collection and it smells as good and beautiful. However the smell doesn’t stay long (only less than 2 hrs) even though I sprayed 5 zest on my bed linen. I wonder if candle version will be stronger and linger around longer.
